*** Jeff’s Thoughts and Other Worthless Trivia ***
The variation in landscape, vegetation, and terrain in Scotland exceeded anything I expected. It needs to be seen in person. Any description provided by me, or guide books will short-hand its magnificence. For example, Rick Steve’s Guidebook’s are otherwise brilliant. However, they simply cannot provide a true Local’s insight and observation. For this trip we stayed at our friend Bryan MacGregor’s home on the Sleat Peninsula. BTW.. what a place! It was Bryan who led us to this spot. The trip was unexpected and unplanned.

Linda and I both realized the possibility of this kind of situation early in the trip. We covered as much ground as possible each day and asked for ideas and listened to the Locals’.
Live-stock are going to be part of any trip into Scotland.
On this trip, we were guided by a Mom who was sharing Quality Time with her newborn.
Note: Bryan suggests that Google maps translation of Ruhba Shlèite to Sandy Beach is incorrect. He indicates Ruhba Shlèite means Sleat headland. At the end of the day, I will go with the local who speaks Gaelic.
Great looking girl, not a Hawaiian beach, looks a bit nippy for a swim…….
