Amazon Prime’s series The Consultant is a masterpiece on paper. In practice, it is a dud. A complete dud.
Two time Academy Award Christopher Waltz plays the lead. He would be the first choice for this role out of all actors world-wide. Unfortunately, even Waltz cannot save a script and storyline that tries too hard, way way too hard, to be arcane and disaffected.
The Consultant feels as forced as a Time-Share property presentation.
