The Island of Kauai is a pretty cool place. It is part of the Hawaiian Island Archipelago in the Pacific Ocean. The islands are effectively Volcanoes. Kauai is a County in the State of Hawaii. Hawaii is the 50th State in the United States of America. The islands are some of the most isolated bodies of land (from a continental landmass) in the world.
Kauai is known as the Garden Island – because of its geological and biological diversity. Normally I would challenge the validity of Tradenames established by Marketing Types. However, the Title for Kauai, based on my experience, is an understatement.
Kauai (and Niihau) are the the oldest of the main islands. Below are a 3D image, and a Relief Map of Kauai.
Below is a Slide Show of images, most of which will be presented for the first time to the public (outside of you) on March 11, 2022 at the Sun Valley Arts Association Gallery Walk at MESH Gallery (our gallery) from 5PM-7:30PM.
The Slide Show has images from the North, East, South, West, Waimea Canyon, Na Pali Coast, and Alakai areas of Kauai.
The Slide Show auto rotates. It pauses, if you hover over an image. There are Left and Right Arrows if you want to move along
Linda, The Border Collies (Sage and Willow), and I exceptionally fortunate to live on the beach in Waimea Town of Kauai. The South, West, Waimea Canyon, Na Pali Coast, and Alakai are part of our every day.
